Easy & Kid-Friendly Halloween Candy Corn Craft
This Halloween craft is super simple & really adorable. I love making cards for any occasion I can find. Last year, I made over 20 handmade Christmas cards and sent them out to friends & family. I think they were a hit. When fall comes around, I start to get into the crafting spirit more than other seasons. Probably because there are so many festive & creative ideas around the holidays. I wanted to create a little something that was Halloween-y to add to my handmade cards since the holiday is coming up so fast. How is it the end of October already?!
How to create this Halloween candy corn craft:
All you need for this craft is orange, yellow, & white paper, scissors, and a glue stick. I cut orange as the largest circle, yellow as the middle circle, & white as the smallest circle.
You can find circular household items to trace on the paper for a guide. For example, I used a small tea light holder, a pill bottle cap, & a stencil for the circles.
The glue stick can be used to paste the circles on top of each other. Be sure to really stick them together or else they will come apart when cutting them. The next step is to draw your lines on the back of the largest circle. This will be the candy corn triangles. No need to be exact, the sizes of candy corn are not uniform in real life anyways!
After you’ve cut out the triangles, they won’t be quite finished until you trim the corners. If you have a cutting tool that rounds edges, that would work much better than just scissors.
And there you have it, a super simple & super adorable Halloween candy corn craft. It’s perfect to do with the kids or as a family. I made super small ones to fit on cards, but you can create larger ones to make a garland or another fun craft for kids. Have fun!
